This salad spinner does the job and it is designed to look good on shelf or counter. The outer bowl and lid are made of stainless steel. What the description does not tell you is that the rotating inner basket and the mechanism under the lid that turns the basket are made of plastic. This salad spinner does not come with a warranty.
